Fighting Flu

Do not touch face with hands. As it impossible to wash hands all the time, get used to not touching your face. To prevent microbial infection , do not touch your eyes, nose or mouth. Wash and disinfect surfaces . The flu germs can be eliminated if the surfaces are disinfected.

Is not the same wipe to disinfect. When cleaning the germs are removed. When disinfecting are destroyed. Generally clean with soap and water is enough to remove dirt and most germs.

However, when it comes to the flu germs, disinfect better to achieve an additional level of protection.

Mix ¼ cup of chlorine bleach to one hot water gallon to disinfect surfaces.

Disinfect door, knobs, light switches , handles of objects, telephones, toys and other surfaces that people touch frequently, such as tables, desks and chair backs. Nor let the microbes remain in the cleaning cloths or towels ! Use paper towels that can be disposed or cloth towels that can be washed after each use.

Other suggestions

If someone has the flu , keep personal items separate of each individual. Avoid sharing computers, pens, papers, clothes  towels, sheets, blankets, food and eating utensils. One person should be in charge of the patient. It's best if the person in charge uses a mask when caring for the sick.

 • Use disposable gloves when cleaning or contact with body fluids and other contaminated with flu virus, for example, tissues objects. Wash hands immediately after removing gloves.

 • Use hot water to wash clothes and wash your hands after touching the dirty clothes .Keep your germs.
Cover your mouth and nose whenever you sneeze.

 • Use tissues instead of cloth.

 • Throw tissues in the trash and wash your hands immediately.

 • When you cough , do not use your hand to cover . If you do not have a tissue, cough or sneeze into your upper arm.

Remember:

If you fed with healthy meals, get enough rest and exercise , can stimulate the immune system and help protect against the flu naturally.
